Xmas Goodies!

Although it is almost the same every year with parties, foods and drinks every time, the events would always have some fresh breezes and experiences.

there were new faces, new encounters, and each time always seem fuller and more fun than the previous times.

This year, there were new experiences, one such event was the Xmas party with my colleagues at SGH BME. lots of warmth, gifts and love. It was wonderful. thank you Shelly, Carol and Mr Ho.

Also, thanks to Rena and family for a quite-Oriental Xmas party. haha!

And to top things off, a cute Xmas greetings' call from Mai with her Japanese version of "Jingle Bells" .

Very lovely. Very happy.

JLPT take~

Finally, i've taken the JLPT at Nanyang Girls' High yesterday morning.
It wasn't too difficult, and i should be able to pass with a high score. =D

The person that was sitting in front of me during the exam really really looked like Celia from the back. -_- Her hairstyle (back in Poly days), her build and the type of t-shirt Celia always like to wear. hmmm~

However, as the 4-hour long ordeal progresses, the girl's hair grew messier and it no longer looked like Celia. hahaha!

Terrorism in the modern war. In times where you thought war is in someplace far away from home, it will actually, on the contrary, strike you where it hurts most.

A Singaporean lawyer (28 yrs old) was one of the 22 foreign nationals who fell victim under the hands of merciless terrorists in the Mumbai attacks. (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20081130/tap-237-terror-attack-victims-body-flown-231650b.html)

She's probably the only Singaporean who has been put under terrorist fire and murdered ever since the Mac bombings several years ago.

I've never cared too much about India's politics, nor did I hold a perspective more emotional than this very moment, every time I read the news about all the senseless killings being carried out in terrorist attacks all over the world.

When a terrorist attacks in one country, it does not only concern the country involved. In this case, a total of 22 foreigners were murdered. Five each from Israel and the US; two each from France, Australia and Canada; one each from Germany, the UK, Japan, Italy, Thailand, and Singapore.

However, the boundary does not stop there.

The whole world is affected.

The whole world is attacked.

The whole world is hurt.

The terrorists might have achieved the objective of creating panic and confusion. But ultimately, the people who gets hurt are still one of our kind - human.

Isn't terrorism just another form of genocide?
